This has been an amazing summer for our family. Sean has been traveling across the Midwest with us on his tail. While he has been teaching teachers about technology, we've been seeing having some wonderful times of learning and visiting with friends. Thankfully, his work has usually ended around 4 so we've been able to have some quality family time all together.
That life has now come to a screeching halt. Sean is back to school. We have opened up the books again. After the initial dust settles, I think we're in for a fruitful change of pace.
I have so much to share on this blog about summer 2009. This blog is for my childrens' sake and I'd hate to skip over some of the highlights that they someday may want to remember more clearly. So bear with me for a while while I saturate you with pictures and stories.
On a side note: I'm wanting to get some of my blog published in book form as a keepsake. Have any of you ever done this and if so what was your experience? I'd appreciate anything you might be able to share. Thanks!

You know me well enough to know I love stories and pictures;) I look forward to yours.
I would be interested in any advice about saving your blog as a keepsake too. It's as close as I've come to scrapbooking.
I can't wait to hear more about your travels!!
I know of a few adoptive families that have made their blog into a book, so I will look into for you both! :)
My in-laws have a nice business printer and print off my blog pages 20-30 at a time. They bound it and sent it off to relatives without Internet access. I haven't seen it, but they said it looked great, and didn't print all the goofy colors or anything. If you have another means of doing it, I would be interested as we share the same motivation :)
I know Blurb has something, but last time I checked into it, it was no longer working with Blogger, only Wordpress or some of the others. I really want to do the same thing. Will you tell me if you figure it out?
I remember Mary at Not Before Seven posting a year ago about putting hers in a "blurb' book too. I got to see it and it turned out very nice! But she said it was a bit of work to get everything into it. I'm sure you can find it on goog.gle!

Hey gal! You post away with all of your stories and pictures! That's the stuff to cherish for sure!
As for a book...I have a lovely one from blurb. I do hear it stopped working with blogger, but now it is working again.
I am trying to motivate myself to do another one. it is a lot of work because I put in a lot to get the pages how I wanted them. AND I imported a lot more photos to add pages of photos.
I am hoping to create "Two years of Tiny Talk" as Christmas gifts for grandparents this year, so I have to explore this too! I'll let you know if Blurb works...or you can tell me ;)
