I've been asking of the Lord some specific questions recently. I'm just trying to get a grasp on a few things, seeking some understanding and wisdom. It seems as though I ask, yet the answers are not coming clearly. So I wait.

This scene outside of the window reminded me of a passage. Job, having suffered more than I could ever imagine inquired of the Lord. God revealed his answer in a series of questions.

Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?

From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens

when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen? -Job 38:28-30

Then Job understood clearly.

Job replied to the LORD :

"I know that you can do all things;
no plan of yours can be thwarted. - Job 42:1-2

I really love your blog. I was just reading through some of the entries and love the way you write. I laughed as I read through your 25 random things, my husband and I 'dated', were engaged and married within 11 months as well! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.
