Fall Giveaway

Being a mom of five girls I have become a collector of dresses. Most of these dresses
were given to our family as gifts or seconds. It's been such a blessing and very enjoyable to see my girls dressed up for church or just for fun. We have all seasons and all sizes from newborn to now size 14.

But I admit that I have been a little sentimental knowing that there will no more little girls coming to dress up. I've slowly been weeding through the smaller clothes donating them here and there or saving the ones with special memories. But then there are others that are just too precious and valuable to donate to Goodwill or the garage sale.

Knowing that dresses are getting harder to come by these days and that often the cost is unreasonable, I want to pass these sweet dresses on to you.

So if your in the market for 4 winter dresses (Old Navy black velvet Jumper with red flowers, Old Navy corduroy button down with yellow and light blue flowers, Gap light purple with pastel flower print, Little Moments velvety dark purple with pink flowers ) for your little size 2/3 princess sign in here.

I will randomly pick a winner on Saturday Nov. 3rd. Please leave a comment and tell me about your favorite dress that you wore as a little girl. If you don't have a blog please sign up anyway. I'll contact you via email. This giveaway is open to US only.

My favorite dress was a floor length pink number with pleats all the way to the ground. My grandpa (quiet farmer type) bought it for my first piano recital at a children's specialty store. It came in a big box wrapped in a ribbon and tissue paper. I never felt so confident and pretty. I hadn't seen it for years until my parents gave it to me for Mother's Day a few years ago.

I still have it somewhere. A tiny white sun dress with a smocked bodice and tiny embroidered flowers all over it - the kind of flowers where the center of the flower is a 'hole' in the dress. One day I hope to wear it on my own daughter...if I can find it again!

I don't have a daughter...yet. :) But I just want to share my favorite dress - my mom made me a miniature bridal gown and veil. It was any little girls' dream dress! I loved it! Anyway, pass the dresses on to someone with girls - I just had to share. :)

My favorite dress was a red Christmas dress I wore when I was 5 (my little sis wore a matching one too!) The fantastic thing about the dress was the full slip that went underneath...it was made of a silky material and it floated like a Can Can dancer's dress when I spun around! My niece wore my sister's dress last Christmas, and I can't wait for my daughter to be big enough to wear mine! Count me in!

My favorite dress was a black and white checked frock with a white panel on the bodice that had little red-haired dancers handstitched on it. It was given to me when I was maybe 3 by my mother's boss (she managed his vacation resort and we all grew up there). He was very fond of me and my strawberry blonde hair. I wonder where that dress is now.

When I was about 7 {I think} I had this pretty yellow dress that I LOVED to twirl in. Looking back on photos I saw it didn't twirl as much as I thought it did but I just loved it. It wasn't fancy, just a simple summer dress but it was my favorite. Gosh I hadn't thought of that dress in years. Thanks!

My favorite dress was actually a sweater skirt combo. A brownish burgandy sweater and the skirt had a cream background with a calico type floral matching the sweater. I felt so pretty and girly wearing it!

Thanks for offering these! With 5 girls in the family, lots gets passed down but by the time it will get to my younger two...well, they really could use some "newer" dresses!

These dresses are darling! After my three boys, dressing my surprise little girl up is such a treat!

I was a total tomboy who HATED dresses! However, I did have a dress that my mom made for me to wear to the 8th grade prom (whose brilliant idea was an 8th grade prom??!!) that I was quite proud of at the time. It was floor length with lots of lace and a floral print cotton fabric.
