Why, oh why, oh why?

I don't know what possessed me today.

Maybe it was the loads and loads of laundry that I have been doing and not folding these past two days. I had thoughts of folding these winter clothes just one last time and putting them into boxes.

Oh, but then the children would have not clothes. So I started dragging out the summer clothes from storage which means that this has happened in my bedroom.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Is that Betsy? She looks like SHE is having fun, at least. :)

Yeah, I keep wanting to do that and then forcing myself to wait until I know I have the time. I'm thinking about tomorrow.... we'll see. It's such a chore!

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean! It's been in the 70's here for weeks and I have yet to drag out our boxes of summer clothes and switch them out with our sweaters and things hanging in our closet...such a chore!! I was getting dressed for church this past Sunday and when I grabbed a skirt to wear I thought "oh yeah, there's a cute shirt that goes with this out in the shed in the summer clothes!!!" It's STILL out there! LOL Procrastination at its finest.

I love the picture of Betsy lovin life in the middle of the room! HAHA! Only our kids could be as happy as clams withouth the tiniest urge to "straighten up" in the middle of it! Yeah, I've had many of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time moments". Things like that always make bigger messes and take so much longer than we expect.

When I pulled up your blog this morning and saw that picture, I knew exactly what you were up to! Oh, it is such a big job, I dread it at the beginning of each season. But it is necessity. If it makes you feel any better, my family room will look like that very soon;0)

I'm knee deep in the middle of it, too, Monica! We will 'wade' through all of this and be victorious in the end!.....I hope!!! And eventually we'll be able to sit on our couches and walk through our bedrooms without as much effort!!
