Typical

In all my planning and running around I think I'm beginning to loose my mind. We are at six days and counting.

Today I ran over our cordless phone. We actually have two, but I've somehow misplaced the other one and the battery has run down so it won't beep at me to find it. I put this phone on the bumper of the car this afternoon when I was working in the yard. I was expecting a call. Later, when I pulled out into the street I heard it drop to the ground. In my attempts to get out of the middle of the road I drove our 15 passenger van over it. It actually faired pretty well but will never work again.

When I told Sean about it he was howling. This is typical me and I'm glad he appreciates it. If not I'd be walking on pins and needles.

Did I ever tell you about the time I drove around town with the cordless phone on top of the car? Or about the time I dropped an entire box of 100 crayons down the dryer vent?

How about you? What's "typical" in your world?

oh my, right now with "new mommy brain" I make a point to count the kids before we leave to make sure I have everyone:0) To this day I have never left one, but I have had one hide from me to make me feel crazy ( which doesn't take much effort). Typical is "anything's possible" around here these days...At the ball field last night I was looking around for my 2 year old, Lily and "counting kids". Turns out she was safely perched on my hip. I just laughed and said, "There you are, you sneaky girl! (to myself of course) Oh, it's kind of scarey at times that I'm in charge of so many...Hee-hee;0)

I just have to tell you that the white board screams, "I'm super organized!"

Typical here? Every time I make a cup of coffee "to go" I leave it sitting on the counter. I have poured apple juice instead of milk into my coffee...but the worst for me was the day I went to the park in a skirt and no underwear. There were no clean ones in my drawer. My intention was to get dressed and then go down to the basement and get a pair. One thing after the other happened and I found myself 1/2 way to the park, comando...

Hope the rest of your packing goes without too many hitches! How funny about the phone. That's wonderful that Sean can just laugh with you about these things.

Kevin drove off with our wedding cake (the top) on top of the car. We were very upset over that! But we laughed, we had to!

Okay, We have done this one and my husband took the run over phone to Wal-mart just to show them what kind of phone he wanted and they gave him a refund! I thought that was beyond any warranty. I have also left my wallet on the bumper of the car while picking apples, drove many curvy miles on bumpy roads and when I got out to get my apples out of the back of the car, my wallet was still on the bumper. God was gracious to me that day. Honestly, I would have never remembered what I did with that wallet. I only had 4 children at that time and have had one more since, I can't wait to see what other stunts I will pull. Sara
