The heavens declare...

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. -Hebrews 11:3

When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,

what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him? -Psalm 8:3-4

Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD from the heavens,
praise him in the heights above.

Praise him, all his angels,
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.

Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars.

Praise him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.

Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for he commanded and they were created.

Psalm 148:1-5

Very cool. We've been discussing this very thing this week in school! Have you heard the Matt Redman song King of Wonders? We watched Ben Stein's Expelled this evening and it makes my heart hurt something terrible to know how many people miss what God has displayed right before their eyes.

We've had the chance to learn about God's wonderous heavens this year too! Jason and Rachel love astronomy and I can see the amazement on their faces as they learn what God has done.
