The Infirmary

I have been reminded these past few night while caring for the children of Schaefer's book, "What is a Family". She devotes a chapter to caring for our families during sickness and how this in not time wasted, but rather a time for blessing. I think I'll reread that chapter when the epidemic passes.

Oh girl. We have had tons of virus's come through our house too. It is so hard having sick sick kids. What a beautiful quote a great perspective to hand on to. I will have to check out that author one day.

This chapter in your book also helped me during our last round of flu. It is amazing how a different perspective can change our attitudes. I did much better this time thank to you sharing this section.
