Breakfast time

Hmm... Seven kids are begging for dinner, I've neglected to thaw out any of my freezer meals and nothing in the pantry seems to add up. It's time for breakfast!!

My favorite quick meal is scrambled eggs, bacon (cooked in the microwave) and cheese wrapped in a warm tortilla shell. I serve it with some sort of fruit (usually a banana) and chocolate milk (to make it extra special). The kids always love it and it takes literally less than 10 minutes to get it on the table. It's great for lunches, too.

Other breakfast foods have crept into our dinner routine as well. Since we eat the standard oatmeal/cereal in the morning, the kids are thrilled whenever they can get pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns or the like. Tonight, even, at the request of the Birthday Girl we ate breakfast by candlelight.

Be sure to check out Rocks in my Dryer this week for lots of quick meal ideas!

We love breakfast for dinner, too and it's one of my quick go-to meals!

I'm going to try and make it your way at some point today - I didn't realize it was going to snow so much! I suppose things will be okay in the garage for awhile?

I made pumpkin pancakes for an afternoon snack yesterday and the kids loved it. We eat breakfast at all hours too.

Wow, the ambiance of the candlelight picture is so cozy! Yeah, Baylee asked for pancakes for supper tonight. I love breakfast foods, so why not have them for supper when we have the time to really enjoy them?

We love to do this too. We had egg and bacon sandwiches last night! I love breakfast at dinner cause I have time to make it :)

I need to do that more often. My problem is I would NEVER have bacon in my fridge... as soon as I buy it (which is rare), it is devoured!

I LOVE the photos, friend. Do you always use placemats and have everyone looking so beautiful??
